Detailed information

Rendering dental treatment was dentists dilemma from the beginning till today. In the search for a solution for this, dentists tried various pharmacological methods. General anesthesia gained much popularity for treatment of very young uncooperative behavior, but the increased cost and use of such invasive methods for dental treatment was not preferred by people. Nitrous oxide sedation gained much popularity among dentists for treatment of anxious kid but was not effective for uncooperative children. This search led to the use of oral sedation in pediatric dentistry. As a coin has two sides similarly even oral sedation had their good and bad effects.
