Trade Facilitation: The case of Kasumbalesa between Congo and Zambia

According to Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD, trade facilitation can not only improve efficiency but it can also lead to significant trade cost savings. Consequently, there is need to resolve complicated and duplicated border procedures that are a common feature in third world countries so as to reduce trade transaction costs. This in turn can help improve the flow of goods as well as improve trade performance of many least developed countries.
