Detailed information

In this book, chemical deposition methods of Cu2O thin films were explained with their proper mechanism, simultaneously we explain the basic parameters behavior of thin film and thin film characterization techniques. The plan of present work is to study in detail the growth, structural, optical, and electrical properties of Cu2O thin films are deposited using modified chemical bath deposition (M-CBD) technique and chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique. The preparative parameters in chemical bath deposition such as concentration, pH, deposition time, temperature, complexing agent etc., while in M-CBD method, concentration, immersion cycles, immersion time etc. are optimized to get good quality, uniform, well adherent and device grade thin films of these materials. The development of simple, reproducible, economical and low cost deposition techniques in addition to the materials used as a window/buffer layer for solar cells.
