Detailed information

Arsenic is known to be distributed randomly in aquifer and sub-aquifer sediments. The epidemic of long term arsenic exposure can lead people to develop arsenicosis, which in turn elevates the risk of cancer. People in the population exposed to arsenic, show an association between biomarkers of arsenic exposure and the expression of DNA impaired genes. Keeping this in mind this book has been written with experimental evidence of estimation of arsenic toxicity and its probable effect on human health. The data were collected from deferent region of Bangladesh which area are highly contaminated with arsenic. This intends to impart proper knowledge to the people about the danger of environmental pollution especially about the arsenic contamination and to understand the character of stereographic chronology and depositional patterns of deltaic aquifer that can facilitate arsenic desorption. Finally, it will be helpful to develop the mechanism that controls the arsenic mobilization, to take proper measurement of arsenic contamination and its prevention processes.
